Gumpert Apollo holds the fastest official time at the Top Gear test track. It has a better power to weight ratio than a McLaren F1. The Gumpert is a 2400 lb 650hp street legal race car. The chassis is a full chromoly with fiberglass and carbon fiber body panels. It is a midengine rear wheel drive super exotic developed by Roland Gumpert who is the former race team manager for Audi.
