2005 Volvo T6 Street Rod - Hot Rod of the Year

The Volvo T6 has been named as Hot Rod of the Year by Hot Rod magazine.

The T6 was originally built in 2002-2003. It is the work of Leif Tufvesson, who then went to work for Koenigsegg, the sole Swedish exclusive sports-car maker. It was designed by Per Gyllenspetz from Labyrint studio. Some say it resembles a Plymouth Prowler. Based on an S80, it weighs just 2,370 lbs. and is powered by a 330-hp, 2.9-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder. It tops out at 205 mph. The T6 has been doing the rounds at various events during the last two years.
