1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 royal maroon

This is one of the most original rust free, two owner, numbers matching Boss 429 Mustangs I have ever seen. This car is VIN 9F02Z172965 and is KK1688. Royal maroon exterior with black interior. This car has been relatively untouched since its delivery and hasn't seen the light of day since 1977. The following is a small list of the original parts still on the car. All original factory sheet metal including rolled front fenders, original factory interior that is in excellent condition, both door panels are in excellent original condition with no cuts or cracks, the seats have minimal wear with no tears, front spoiler, magnum 500 wheels with correct center caps, rear sway bar, 3.91 differential, staggered shock plates, hood scoop with flapper, choke and air cables, front sway bar, oil cooler system, power steering pump system with correct pulley and brackets, voltage regulator, water tubes, lower smog bracket, radiator, radiator fan, finger guard, alternator w/hipo pulley, distributor, valve covers with the inspection engraving, export brace, power brake booster, power steering cooler, air cleaner with rubber seal and small lid, 7.75 space saver spare w/handle, cannister and mounting brackets for the drivers side, even the original battery cables are there. The engine appears to have all of the original equipment except as noted below. The odometer states 59K miles, but I'm not sure that is accurate. The interior and vehicle is in too good of condition to correspond with that mileage. Even the carpet is original with very little wear. Here's what I can tell is missing. Snorkel, heat shield, carburetor, Autolite spark plug wires, but the original insulators and boots are there, exhaust manifolds (headers instead), hot air tubes, shocks, scissors jack, battery vent caps, valve cover caps, smog and thermactor tubes though the lower smog pump bracket is there, original tires. Following is the documentation available with the car. Two broadcast (build) sheets, one trim/adjustment sheet, dealer factory window sticker (copy 1 showing dealer cost), original dealer folder showing original owner information and vehicle information right down to the key numbers, original like new owners manual and Boss 429 supplement with the original bag, original owners warranty card, several new car warranty service invoice sheets from the original dealer and the original sales contract. This is a great deal of documentation that is a rarity to find. Here's what's wrong. To my knowledge from information supplied by the second owner the engine has thrown a rod and doesn't run, but the engine is numbers matching. The shifter is a Hurst instead of the standard Mustang and has a 1970 "T" handle. The drivers side window has been replaced and is tinted where the rest of the side glass is untinted. The dash pad is cracked as usual. The driver's side headlight bucket has a broken tab where the front valence attaches. There is a very small dent on the tail light panel. The paint was redone in the very early seventies and needs to be redone. Mach 1 hood pins were also installed and the radio antenna is missing. The hood scoop has a small crack on the rear passenger corner.
