This car was fully restored and was completed in July 2001. It has been professionally repainted. The interior has been totally refurbished and is perfect. The paint is flawless(completed in July 2001). It has a mirror-like finish. It was painted the correct Austin Healey 3000 color combination of Black with Colorado Red coves with correct red leather interior. Included is the highly desirable factory hardtop. Also it has a new soft top, side curtains and tonneau cover. This is truly one of the nicest early model Austin Healey 3000s we have ever seen. Mechanically this car is excellent and drives great. The engine has been fully detailed to original specifications and is extremely clean. The frame and outriggers are perfect as well and very strong. Underneath this car is very clean with bare metal and no undercoating. Only 143 units of 1961 BT7s were produced and of that only 50 units were produced with left hand drive. The condition of this car is well evident in the photographs below. A restoration like this would cost between $55k and $60k and this car is available at a price much below this. This is a one of a kind automobile that is very stunning in appearance and would be sure to please even the most discriminating collector or classic car buyer.
